Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail is a 110-mile heritage trail that circles the Big O, otherwise known as Lake Okeechobee. The trail offers ideal birdwatching opportunities, as well as a great place for hikers and bikers to experience the second largest lake in the continental United States. Alligators, bobcats and wild hogs are often seen while on the trail. Access: Various access points around Lake Okeechobee, including in Okeechobee, Clewiston and Moore Haven. |
